I've been recently wasting my time (in addition to the normal ones) by browsing random blogs online. I'm actually a little shocked and (happily?) surprised by how much I was affected by some of them. I have no idea who the author is or what their life is like; nevertheless I found myself being drawn into their life, wanting to know more about them, why they write the posts they do and wanting to give them encouragement on whatever is making them write the sad melancholic pieces. This particular blog belonged to a 20-something asian girl living in the US though, so I suppose it could be some weird manifestation of hormones.
Still. I'm saddened by the very short reach I have, the very limited scope of my life, the fact that I can only touch the lives of very few, when there are so many interesting stories to be told, so many lives I would want to help in some way.
If I was to explain this, and the fact that in real life, I really don't talk to that many people at all, I would say that in these particular blog posts the author bares all, and hides nothing (maybe emboldened by their anonymity on the internet and the fact that all who read it are strangers?), while everyone in real life has some kind of facade, some mask, some act, which they place between themselves and the world. And to me, the mask is infinitely boring, devoid of meaning. But I would have to say that I am just as guilty of this if not more.
Anyways, I'm not sure whether to make this a regular thing, or if this will be another in a long (short for now?) line of ad hoc, one-off entries; this post was supposed to motivate myself to start, and keep, writing. We'll see how it goes.
Music I'm listening to:
Hitomi Kuroishi - Stories (Code Geass insert song)
Smashing Pumpkins - The Beginning is the End is the Beginning

Still Filler Material
Yeah, two tests down and one to go. Not yet time to start (or rather, I don't feel like) posting in earnest. Anyways, just a Youtube clip that I've been spreading - it's hideously cute so if you're allergic to that kind of stuff... I would stop reading. Now.
Hatsune Miku + Co. (With the last few seconds being Caramelldansen)
If you don't know about Caramelldansen, it's a dance track by Swedish group Caramell - very contagious, high mortality rate, spreads through net.

First!
... to borrow a worn out meme.
Anyways, day before Finc and Law final exams, and I'm starting a blog. Ain't I a genius? I mean, who else would do something like this? Back to studying for now though.
